Ontario, Canada – Stance Healthcare recently announced they would begin designing children’s healthcare furniture for use in pediatric spaces. To launch this new initiative, a “Junior” version of their popular Accent Chair, along with coordinating activity tables, will officially be released early October in advance of the Healthcare Design Expo + Conference taking place in November.
“Our Accent seating collection is very popular in the healthcare industry due to its versatility, durable and cleanability. We were receiving requests for that same quality in a children’s seating collection, as there are not many options available currently” says President, Carl Kennedy. “We have since been able to take the design of our current Accent chair and create a healthcare-grade chair suitable for pediatric spaces. Having the Accent available in both a standard and junior version allows designers to create a cohesive environment suitable for both adults and children.”
The Accent Junior has similar features and options as its parent design, but resized with a child’s comfort in mind:
Upholstered or wood back available with custom cutouts
Versatile and stackable
14-gauge steel frame powder-coated in a range of finishes
Exceeds BIFMA Seating Durability test to 500 lbs
Coordinating activity tables available in a variety of shapes and sizes
To experience the NEW Accent Junior, visit Stance Healthcare (booth 1623) at Healthcare Design Expo + Conference from November 11-14 at The Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Florida. For show information, please visit www.hcdexpo.com.

The Verity Sleeper features a heavy-duty steel mechanism, wall-saver design, 3 comfortable positions, and a very accommodating sleep surface of 80″. Options include a choice of wood, polyurethane or solid surface arm cap, caster or wood leg and contrasting fabrics.
Riviera’s welcoming aesthetic will enhance the entrance of any Behavioral Health public space.
The collection includes a single lounge chair, love seat, and three-seat sofa. Riviera features many design considerations that deter misuse or mishandling including non-removable cushions and legs, as well as unexposed fasteners and upholstery staples.

Based on market research and designer request, Vista II for Behavioral Health is now available in 3 configurations and 2 widths for a total of 6 options to choose from. Constructed of attractive oval tubing and an easy-to-clean one-piece contoured seat and back, these chairs are strong, exceptionally comfortable and safe.
More specifically, the collection consists of arm and armless models available in two seat widths – 18” and 22”. Armless models are available with 4 post legs or sled base. There’s also the option to include a custom frame finish and bolt to floor brackets.
The breadth of the Vista II Behavioral Health Collection means it can be used in many applications including common areas, dining rooms, patient rooms and group therapy environments.
Empire is a one-piece, rotationally-molded plastic lounge chair designed for intensive use environments. Durability and ergonomics come together in the Empire to provide maximum strength, comfort and safety.
A great alternative to our Valiant lounge chair, the Empire features tamperproof fasteners, a 1500lb static load weight rating, and is easy to clean. This lounger has a variety of safety features including the option to have the chairs bolted together or have weight added.

Duchess Kate Perfectly Nails Why People Don’t Seek Mental Health Help
Kate explains the challenge that so many people have is not knowing how to take that first step of reaching out to another person for help. She also states that fear, or a sense of not wanting to burden another, means that people suffer in silence ― allowing the problem to grow larger and larger unchecked.
