The Stance team had the pleasure of returning to this year’s Healthcare Design (“HCD”) Conference + Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana. Following six previous years of appearances and associated HCD award wins, our 2024 show presence continued the winning momentum behind Stance at HCD, securing the prestigious Nightingale GOLD award in Behavioral Health Furnishings for our Flo Lounge series!

It was the perfect year to share more of the fullness of Stance’s offerings, as our team exhibited in our largest booth space to date. This more generous space allowed us to show an even broader product offering, from metal seating and lounge to casework and case goods to HCD attendees.

In addition to the award-winning Flo Lounge, which adds to the 2021 HCD Nightingale Gold award-winning Flo Table and Chair Series for Behavioral Health, we were proud to exhibit many of our best-selling and new-release products in the booth, including: our newly-released Podium sleep sofa; the just-launched Abrazo seating series (shown in rocker and four-leg varieties), which received great feedback for its exceptional comfort; and 2023 HCD award winners, Ventura Casework and Lotus Casegoods for Behavioral Health.

All of these products are unique in function, form and aesthetic – but we’re most proud of the way they work together to tell a unified story about how Stance is Improving Lives by Design. It was special for our team to have this opportunity to truly show so many sides of what we bring to the marketplace at our industry’s largest event!

Speaking of Improving Lives by Design, we were excited to host our first ‘bite-sized’ educational event in our booth. Suzanne Fawley, our Behavioral Health interior designer, shared 5 tips for Behavioral Health design, each paired with Stance products for application. This was a fantastic opportunity for HCD attendees to get a surface-level taste of the research-backed best practices that Suzanne educates on year-round through her BH CEUs. From taking home another Nightingale GOLD to putting our thought leadership on exhibit, we enjoyed networking and learning from our peers in the industry. HCD 2024 will be remembered as not just an award-winning appearance for our Stance team, but a week full of fun memories including our first HCD after-party event and beautiful weather in Indianapolis, which we enjoyed thoroughly from the second-floor patio.
