The entire team at Stance is committed to improving lives by design not only through the Behavioral Healthcare furniture they manufacture, but also through ongoing community outreach initiatives. Did you know that when school breaks for summer, so do many in-school nutrition’s programs that kids rely on for their breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. More than 20,500 children in Waterloo Region live in a food-insecure household.
Last month, Stance held their 10th annual food drive to support the Food Bank of Waterloo Region’s Full Bellies Happy Hearts campaign to ensure no family goes hungry this summer. Employees donated food and made cash donations to support the cause. In addition, Stance doubled the generous contributions made by employees. The entire team raised $5,145, and donated 100lbs of food, enabling the food bank to provide a record-breaking 10,290 meals in the local community!
