Stance's 12th Annual Food Drive
Record breaking 11,100+ meals provided to the Food Bank of Waterloo Regio
Summer is a season many children look forward to, filled with warm weather, outdoor activities, and time spent with friends and family. However, for more than 25,000 children across Waterloo Region, the end of the school year also means losing access to the nutrition programs they rely on throughout the school day. For many families, school breakfast, lunch, and snack programs play a vital role in ensuring children receive consistent, nutritious meals. When school nutrition programs pause for the summer, many families continue to face challenges accessing healthy meals.
This July, Stance proudly held its 12th annual food drive in support of The Food Bank of Waterloo Region's Full Bellies, Happy Hearts campaign. This important initiative helps provide food assistance to local families during the summer months, ensuring children continue to have access to healthy meals when school-based programs are unavailable.
Once again, our team demonstrated an incredible commitment to giving back. Through generous donations of food and financial contributions, Stance employees came together to make a meaningful impact in our community. Thanks to their support, we helped provide a record-breaking 11,133 meals to local families, surpassing our contribution from the previous year and setting a new milestone for our annual campaign.
